The telemetry system at 678 Due West Rd sent a high wet well alarm at 5:20 p.m. on 4/30/2022. The manhole behind the station was overflowing due to abnormally high peak flows to the pump station during this weekend peak flow period. Personnel responded and increased the speed on the bypass pump currently installed at this location. The manhole stopped overflowing at 6:00 p.m. It is estimated that 1600 gallons spilled onto the ground and into Pumpkinvine Creek. Lime was applied to the site and signs were placed to alert the public.
