What is Homestead Exemption?
The State and Paulding County offer homestead exemptions to persons that own and occupy their home as a primary residence. Homestead applications may be filed with your county Board of Tax Asessors at any time however, the deadline for filing is April 1st of the year the exemption is being sought.
