How do I check my toilet for a leak?

To test your toilets for a leak, simply drop a few drops of any color liquid in the tank of the toilet to discolor the water. Give it about 10-15 minutes and check the bowl to see if any of the discolored water has seeped thru. If so, you have a flapper that is not sealing properly which is the cause of the leak.
