Mission Statement
Vision:
Create an atmosphere that inspires Paulding County citizens to care for
their environment in a way that impacts future generations.
Mission:
Keep Paulding Beautiful desires to work with Paulding citizens to promote a
clean and healthy environment in which to live, work and play.
Goals/Objectives:
• Educate citizens of Paulding County about litter and recycling.
• To educate every third grader in the county about taking care of the
environment.

- February -Arbor Day (Plant a tree) Arbor Day
Celebration Friday
- March - "The Great American Cleanup" Begins
and Runs until May 31. Local Media will Announce Scheduled Event

Miscellaneous
- Scrap metal is accepted at the Paulding County Landfill.
Scrap metal includes old appliances, bikes, grills, lawn mowers, and
much more.
- Scrap tires can be taken to any tire dealer for recycling.
They will charge for this service.
- Auto Batteries, many stores that sell them accept
your old battery for recycling.
- Waste Paint: Duron Paint in Hiram sells a product
called Waste Paint Hardened- This product may be purchased for around
$ 3.00 and can be put in unwanted paint for absorption for disposal.
Paulding County received their Keep Paulding Beautiful Certification on
May 13, 2003 and is now an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc..
