The mission of the Paulding County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is to serve the citizens of the County through effective planning for natural and man-made disasters.
Our goal is to save lives and protect property through coordination of an integrated emergency management system with local officials, emergency response organizations, support services, and volunteers.
In the aftermath of disasters the county EMA supports local response efforts and coordinates disaster recovery operations from the county Emergency Operations Center. The Paulding County EMA also coordinates and supports efforts to train and exercise with local officials, emergency responders, community service organizations, business and industry executives, and citizens.
The Paulding County EMA is committed to actions that can prevent some disasters and reduce the impact of those over which we have no control.
