To register to vote you must be:                                                                                 

• A citizen of the United States. 
• A legal resident of Georgia and the county in which you wish to vote. 
• At least 17 1/2 years of age to register and 18 to vote. 

You may NOT register if you: 

• Are currently serving a sentence for a felony. 
• Have been ruled mentally incompetent by a court. 

Important: 

• Please keep your voter registration up to date. If you move, or change your name, you must notify us. Should you move to another county or state, you must register to vote in that county or state. 
• Your voter registration does not follow you. You may only registered to vote in one state. You cannot have multiple registrations. Voting twice is an offense punishable by law.
