All vacant Sheriff's Office positions can be found by clicking HERE. This is for all positions, both civilian and sworn.

For any sworn position, if you are not certified as a POST Peace Officer, applicants must start as a Detention Officer within the Jail Facility. From there, Detention Officers will gather the necessary training and experience to then promote to Deputy Sheriff after serving at least one year. During training, salary and benefits will paid to the employee.
